The Children's Safety Village is located on nine-acres centrally located in the heart of Orlando and is focused on the topic of life safety education. The Children's Safety Village consists of interactive programs, workshops and activities that allow participants to learn about fire, water, traffic, pedestrian, bicycle, stranger awareness, internet safety and other personal life safety skills in a realistic setting. For the past six years the CSV has hosted Santa's Village for approximately 75-100 children and we are in need of volunteers to help clean up, landscaping, painting and more as we prepare the location for this event.
Fix It Friday's run through April 2018.

Description
The Children's Safety Village is located in Orlando on an nine acre property site that is near the Central Floirida Fairgrounds. We are operational year-round and our "miniature city" includes child-size buildings, paved streets, sidewalks, crosswalks signals, a functioning traffic light, railroad crossing, Fire Safety House and a Water Safety Complex.
Our educational programs focus on:

- Water& Pool Safety
- Fire Safety
- Dangerous Person Awareness
- Car Seat Safety & Car Seat Installation
- Internet Safety
Professional law enforcement officers, fire fighters, nurses, and teachers have contributed in the development and designs of our programs and services.
