Are you up for a challenge? How about if it's enjoyable? Rewarding? Fruitful?
Refugees come to this country often times with no real knowledge of English yet have a very short time to learn it, as well as all the other skills needed to become self-sufficient in this, their new home country.
If you want to help in this vital effort we have a place for you! Experience in teaching ESL is always nice but not required. We will train you and supply all the materials you will need. Your schedule is determined by the time you want to donate.
Please respond to this post or contact Larry Newman, Volunteer Manager, at 252-344-1155 or lnewman@helpingrefugees.org
