We are in need of construction volunteers for all Fridays and Saturdays. Build with Habitat and help a San Antonio family's dream come true.
Construction crews are the heart of Habitat for Humanity’s mission. No previous experience is necessary to volunteer. Each house will have a leader to instruct the volunteers and have all of the tools and safety equipment our volunteers will need. There are a variety of different tasks that the construction crews perform that may vary from day to day. This volunteer opportunity provides the participant with hands-on skills and interaction with other volunteers.
Bring a group of up to 30 each day or come as an individual - volunteers must be aged 14+ to work on site.

Founded in 1976, Habitat for Humanity of San Antonio was the first U.S. partner affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International. We are proud to say we built the first Habitat home in the United States have continued to build over the past 42 years for a total of 1,063 homes built in Bexar County!
Habitat for Humanity of San Antonio works with low-income families who would not otherwise be able to afford a house. We partner with families in need and help them build affordable houses for themselves at no interest and no profit. We are not a charity or a "hand out" program, but rather we help families help themselves.
in 2018, we plan to build 50 houses for San Antonio families in need. We can't do this alone- over 13,500+ volunteers will partner in construction with us this year to showcase the true meaning of community and compassion.
Habitat builds more than homes, we build stronger, safer, healthier communities right here in San Antonio!
