Reading volunteers in this program spend one hour a week at Minter Creek Elementary School helping struggling 2nd-4th graders boost their reading skills. The energetic and fun after-school program meets every Wednesday afternoon from 3:45-4:45, and each volunteer is placed one-on-one with a child, helping to build a relationship that is critical to academic success! Each school has a Program Coordinator, to facilitate and guide the hourly sessions with the children.

Communities In Schools of Peninsula is the nation's leading drop-out prevention program aimed at helping students aim for higher academic goals and a brighter future!

Apply today to start the program for the new semester with a child! Please include your contact number as well!
