Become a mentor. You can make a difference in the life of a youth, give back to the community and have fun through mentoring.
College Bound Mesa is currently accepting applications for Mentors.
Upon completing mentor orientation and training, College Bound Mesa mentors comprise two groups: junior high and high school. Junior High Mentors commit to: meet with their student at least 1 - 4 hours per month for at least 1 school year; participate in group events when possible; assist their student as they set off toward college. High School Mentors commit to: meet with 3-4 students once each month for 2 hours on Saturday to lead a college-going activity. Mentors follow up with their students personal college-going portfolio to help maintain focus. A CBAZ mentor helps students connect the dots to their future.
