Como Park Zoo and Conservatory is seeking hundreds of volunteers to help with ZooBoo. It's a non-scary Halloween festival for young children and families. Como Zoo will transform into a world of fairy tales and fun! More than 200 costumed volunteers will entertain and interact with children of all ages on Oct. 21, 22, 28, and 29. Proceeds from the event benefit two of Minnesota's most treasured year-round attractions, Como Zoo and Marjorie McNeely Conservatory.
Individuals who are at least 17 years of age and can volunteer for late afternoon or evening shifts are needed to wear fun costumes provided by Como, greet and entertain young children and families, or pass out Halloween treats. We still have several spots left for costumed characters for both weekends.
Individuals, families and groups are encouraged to volunteer. Pre-registration and event orientation are required. Orientation on Saturday, October 14th, 9am to noon. You are welcome to volunteer for more than one night!

Admission to both the Como Zoo and Marjorie McNeely Conservatory is always free and a voluntary donation is appreciated.
