Learning to Work are continuing to inspire young people through the National Careers Curriculum and are working with a girls school, could you help?
We are seeking employees who have graduated within the past three years to join us at a mock interview session to ask the girls questions. This is superb for their personal skills and prepares them for the world of work and further education. The event is for Year 13 (17-18yr olds) on the Thursday 20 October at Kendrick School in Reading and I am looking for recent Graduates or Degree Apprentices to join us.
We will supply each volunteer with a list of Mock Interview questions relating to the subject choice of the group of students the volunteer will be with and after introducing themselves ask the students the questions and give back constructive feedback. The volunteers are of course welcome to ask any other questions they feel are important relating to them applying to University.
The session will run from 10-55am to 12-10pm so arrival in the school reception would be 10-30am.
