Dane County Friends of Ferals (DCFoF) is a non-profit, no-kill shelter that works to promote the well being of Dane County's homeless felines. Since our inception in 2001, more than 6000 abandoned cats have been rescued, altered, vaccinated and adopted into their forever homes.
Through targeted TNR (trap, neuter, release), we actively reduce the population size of feral cat colonies. We find good permanent rural homes for cats whose original habitat may be unsafe. We find loving indoor homes for cats who become tame and affectionate companions while in our care. We run Adoption Fairs at MadCat on Mineral Point Road.
We depend on our volunteers and veterinarians to continue this work. To continue this work, we need YOUR help.
