About

Compassionate Care Hospice is looking for Ordinary people to do extraordinary things!

If you have some time to share, we would love for you to volunteer in one of these areas:

*Patient/Caregiver relief

*Office Support

** WE HONOR VETERANS - Veterans visiting Veterans Program

*Community Outreach assistance

*Volunteering w/ your pet (pet therapy)

*Music Therapy

We also have opportunities at our Inpatient unit at the St. Francis Hospital.

At the unit, you may volunteer in one of these areas:

*Patient/Caregiver support

*Office Support

*Music Therapy

* Food Therapy - making goodies for our families and patients to enjoy while visiting the unit. We have a full kitchen in the unit for you to use.

*Volunteering w/ your pet (pet therapy)

*Community Outreach/events

IF YOU HAVE A GROUP THAT WOULD LIKE TO HELP US, THESE ARE THE FOLLOWING AREAS WHERE WE COULD REALLY USE SUPPORT:

****Make Prayer shaws, blankets,pillows and other crafty things

****Organize quilting/knitting/crocheting nights to make comfort items for our patients

**** Make food to bring into the unit for the patients and families to enjoy

**** Community outreach within churches and social groups to assist with volunteer recruitment for our program.
