Do you have a few hours a week to spare? Would you like to make a difference in the lives of seniors?

Anna's Cafe and Gift Shop volunteers give Lyngblomsten residents the independence of shopping for a loved one, grabbing a snack with a friend, or rewarding themselves with a little treat. Be a friendly face as you create a warm and welcoming environment that is dignified and worthy of a person who has lived to be, on average, 87 years of age. Anna's Cafe and Gift shop hours are from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm on weekdays. Shifts are typically 4 hours in length, but we are happy to be flexible with shift times. Training is provided.

Influenced by Christ, Lyngblomsten provides a ministry of compassionate care and innovative services to older adults in order to preserve and enhance their quality of life.

Description

Lyngblomsten provides compassionate care to older adults through residential and community services. Volunteers of all ages are welcomed to explore over 100 unique and varied opportunities. While short-term options may be available periodically, we encourage longer-term commitments given the exceptional level of orientation, training and on-going education Lyngblomsten provides in support of its volunteers.
