Lion Hospice seeks volunteers to provide companionship and socialization to meet the needs of our hospice patients.
Our patients enjoy simple visits from new friends who mean to enrich their lives! Enjoy a relaxing new relationship with someone who truly appreciates your visit and your company.
Lion Hospice volunteers must complete a background check and drug screening prior to meeting our patients. Also, training is provided to increase your comfort level with hospice and our patients.

Description
Lion Hospice, SERVING THE DALLAS/FORT WORTH METROPLEX AND SURROUNDING COUNTIES, offers a special type of care designed to provide comfort and support to patients and their families when a life-limiting illness no longer responds to cure-oriented treatments. Hospice care does not prolong life nor does it hasten death. The goal of hospice care is to improve the quality of a patient's end of life offering comfort and dignity.
