Volunteers will work directly with homeless, low-income, and disabled job seekers in our computer lab. You will offer assistance when needed with setting up e-mail accounts, attaching resumes and other documents to emails, filling out online applications, navigating employment websites such as monster.com and careerbuilder.com, as well as other job search technology advice.
You will also offer help with resume creation and revision, writing cover letters, and letters of explanation (such as for previous firings or periods of unemployment). Staff will assist in all of these areas as needed.
You will also monitor the room to insure equipment usage rules are followed.
Our computer lab is open Mon.-Fri., 8:30 am-4:30 pm.Feel free to volunteer for any shift or portion of a shift that works with your schedule.

We provide vocational rehabilitation and employment services to individuals with mental, emotional, physical and economic challenges. In doing so, we also provide an able workforce to businesses. We offer evaluation, training, placement and support services to the disabled, the homeless and those receiving qualifying government aid. Our commercial services include document destruction, news broadcast duplication and the ability to run departments such as mail-rooms or custodial crews. We are funded by earned production revenue, fees for service and grants or donations.
