Volunteers with a variety of skills needed to help us help more animals in need.
We're a 501(c)(3), ALL volunteer, no-kill animal welfare organization. We help with support for feral cat colonies (t-n-r), low cost spay/neuter resources for pet owners in need, and we rescue and promote adoption.
We're in need of reliable, animal loving people to join us in helping end the animal abuse and neglect in the Columbus community. We are seeking volunteers to assist at our cage-free adoption center, volunteer at our off-site adoption events, care/clean our cats in our intake/sick bay areas, take professional photographs of our adoptables, and fundraising events.
Youth volunteers welcome when accompanied by a parent.
Colony Cats is an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose primary mission is to address cat overpopulation in central Ohio through public awareness and spay/neuter efforts. Since 2002, our organization has facilitated spay or neuter of over 7,000, homeless, owned and feral animals.
Specialized help for feral, stray and abandoned cats is a core element of our programs. We assist compassionate caregivers who are feeding and watching over homeless cats by providing TNR (trap-neuter-return) and other support services including food, shelter, vaccines and additional vet care for injuries/illness, as well as educational resources.
We are a non-profit, all volunteer organization, dedicated to helping manage feral cat colonies through our trap-neuter-return program. We also assist pet owners with financial difficulties receive medical care for their pets (spaying/neutering, vaccines, and other health issues). Another large part of our organization is rescuing cats/kittens, dog/puppies in crisis, offering them sanctuary and rehabilitation in our foster homes and adoption center. Animals that are being abandoned and discarded now have a second chance to find loving, forever homes in a safe, no-kill environment.
