Volunteers welcome visitors to the Reston Museum, answer questions, and ring up sales. Training will be provided. This is a great opportunity to meet many people in the Reston community and beyond. If you love talking about history you will love this volunteer opportunity! Shifts are from 11 am to 1:30 pm and 1:30 pm to 4 pm. Volunteers should be comfortable working independently.
While assistance is most needed on weekends, the recommendation is for the first time volunteering to be on a weekday and after you feel comfortable volunteering on a weekend.
While there are no minimum hour requirements this is a better opportunity for someone looking for a most consistent volunteer opportunity.
