Perhaps you play the drums or the guitar. Perhaps you love sports or card games. Perhaps you have an
interesting job you'd like to display. Or perhaps you're really, really good at papier-mache. Whatever your reason, we
might have a place for you! We are seeking Creative Workshop Leaders to run one-time or regular events for the children at our After School Program. Music, art, sports, games, crafts, stories--whatever your affinity, we'd love to talk to you.

PURPOSE: The Creative Workshop Leader will help provide fun and educational activities for the student,
drawing upon his or her areas of interest.

RESPONSIBILITIES: The Creative Workshop Leader is responsible for the following:

(1) Designing and implementing a creative, fun workshop for the students. This can take the form of a one-time event or a regular activity.

(2) Patiently guiding the students through their activity or workshop.

(3) Always maintaining a courteous, friendly, and optimistic attitude toward the students.

BENEFITS: Our students range across grades K through 8. After a long day in school, they are ready for fun and
different activities. You will be providing that excitement! Whether you come for a one-time event or plan a regular workshop or club, the kids will love to share in your enthusiasm and creativity.

CONTACT: Further questions about this volunteer opportunity should be directed to the Volunteer Coordinator, Mr. Jonathan Spain-Collins via http://www.christianvolunteering.org/org/pope-john-paul-ii-catholic-academy.jsp.
