Snohomish County Visitor Information Center
Volunteer Travel Counselors Have Lots of Resources to Give to Visitors!

We have several shifts available at our Future of Flight location:



Saturday mornings - 10am to 1pm* (2 positions available)

Saturday afternoons - 1pm to 4pm* (2 positions available)

Sunday afternoons - 1pm to 4pm*

*These times are during the winter season. Peak season (end of May - beginning of September) morning shifts are 9am-1pm and afternoon shifts are 1-5pm

This is an exciting, fast past environment. You must be proficient in English and be able to start conversations with visitors and tourists that come to the counter. Loving people, smiling and being able to be patience with non-english speaking visitors is a must.

Greet visitors from near and far at local visitor information centers. Talk about all the great things there are to do in the area! Give out free brochures, guides and maps, give directions and make recommendations about activities, restaurants and lodging. A light-hearted and fun position, Travel Counselors for the Snohomish County Tourism Bureau help keep the local tourism economy strong and are appreciated by hoteliers and attraction owners. Visitor Info Centers are located in Lynnwood's Heritage Park, Historic Downtown Snohomish and at the world renowned Future of Flight Aviation Center and Boeing Tour. Be the one in-the-know as you become an expert in local tourism news and happenings. Enjoy working with a great group of volunteers with monthly gatherings, three annual social events and tours of local hotels and attractions.

We provide training, monthly meetings, familiarity tours three times a year and great recognition events. You must attend at least 3 monthly meetings and 1 tour.

The Snohomish County Visitor Information Centers is a program of the Snohomish County Tourism Bureau. The bureau's mission is to promote, develop and expand the tourism economy of Snohomish County. Our visitor information centers provide information and personal referrals to visitors from nearby and from around the globe.

Description

Snohomish County Tourism Bureau maintains year-round visitor information centers powered by our volunteer staff. Our centers are located in Lynnwood, Arlington and the City of Snohomish. The Bureau also assists meeting planners, tour operators and the public in finding suitable event venues. The bureau publishes various guides including a Snohomish County Visitor Guide and various specialized brochures.
