Enjoy public speaking or networking?

Community Outreach Specialists/Speaker's Bureau volunteers are needed to share United Way, RealSense and agency partners' information within the community. Make brief presentations to small groups or staff a community event table. Our primary focus of the outreach effort is to share the United Way message about the programs and services we offer with our audience AND to bring awareness to the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) eligible population.

Promote our services -- free tax preparation and free financial education workshops. There will be various community events that we will attend to gain access to the public so that we can share this invaluable information. Choose the event that fits your schedule. Volunteer as much or as little as you would like.

Two hours of outreach training in RealSense services and the EITC communication platform is required.

Training dates occur throughout the year. The 2024 Outreach schedule will be forthcoming after January 1, 2024. Contact Aretha Franklin, 904-348-7577 or arethaf@uwnefl.org with questions.
