BBCC is looking for a volunteer to photograph our various events through the year. We will provide you with the digital card compatible to your camera and that card will be returned to us with photos after the event. You should have a didgital camera of your own preferably an SLR.

Description

Community grassroots non-profit Breast Cancer Organization offering comprehensive community services and expanded to include services for those diagnosed with any gynecological cancer. Our main program is:

Lend A Helping Hand
Established in 1996, Lend A Helping Hand (LAHH) provides direct services to individuals recovering from recent breast or gynecological cancer surgery and those undergoing chemotherapy and/or radiation for those cancers. Clients choose from a variety of services that will lighten the stress cancer treatment creates for both the patient and family, including:

  • House cleaning (bonded and insured)
  • Door-to-door transportation to medical appointments
  • Financial assistance
  • Meal preparation
  • Massage therapy
  • Childcare
  • and More...

Every effort is made to ensure assistance continues through the duration of treatment. Services are
provided regardless of income and are tailored to meet the individual needs of the client.
