The fall of 2016 marks the 31th year of this popular program. The program will run from October through Feb. and provide each Kindergarten through Grade 5 classroom library with five brand new books. Over 600 new and returning volunteers are needed just once a month and share their love of reading and great literature with the students. You will be assigned to the same classroom each of the 5 months.

Springfield School Volunteers is a non-profit organization that has been matching the resources of the community with the needs of the students, teachers and principals of the Springfield Public Schools since 1969.
