62-acre nature preserve with 5 miles of maintained trails; assistance with trail maintenance, repair, invasive species management.
Docents and educators for educational school programs, scout programs, birthday parties, summer camps, major events, public programming, and craft workshops throughout the year. Souvenir gift shop help needed as well.

Description
The preserve consists of 62 acres of varied terrain. There are five miles of marked nature trails. The museum has a variety of exhibits of Long Island geology and dioramas illustrating the evolution of our landscape. Garvies Point Museum also offers wonderful exhibits featuring prehistoric Native Americans of North America and Long Island.
