LifePath Hospice, Inc.

Want to have fun and make new friends while helping your community? Life's Treasures Thrift Stores, operated in support of LifePath Hospice, are always seeking volunteers to sort and price donations, display merchandise on the sales floors, maintain the window displays, run the cash registers, assist customers and help keep the stores neat and clean. We also need office help and people with expertise pricing and displaying collectible and designer merchandise. Schedules are flexible. No retail experience is required, all training will be provided.

Donations to Life's Treasures are tax-deductible, and proceeds from sales help pay for a variety of LifePath Hospice’s unfunded programs, including hospice care for those who are uninsured or otherwise unable to pay for services, free community grief support for adults and children, end-of-life care education for USF medical students, programs for veterans, patient and family special needs, and end-of-life wishes.

Description

LifePath Hospice offers guidance and support to individuals with life-limiting illnesses and their families as they travel on a new and unfamiliar path of life. With the assistance of medical professionals, counselors, clergy and trained volunteers, patients and families are cared for and educated on end-of-life issues in order to make this final journey as peaceful and comfortable as possible.
