Conservation Volunteers International Program is looking for fun, adventurous people who don't mind getting their hands dirty, to join our volunteer group to Machu Picchu, Peru. Our volunteers help maintain Inca ruins, trails and habitat in and around Machu Picchu, Peru. We lead two trips per year to Machu Picchu, usually in June and November.
Volunteers on our trips visit Machu Picchu in a more leisurely and extended fashion than the majority of tourists, with time to explore the local culture in a way that few visitors experience.
The trip begins and ends in Cusco on the dates listed. Volunteers pay a fee of $3,295 which covers the cost of food, lodging, local transportation, park fees, and training. The fee may be tax deductible.

Mission Statement
Conservation Volunteers International Program is an environmental nonprofit dedicated to helping sustain some of the world's greatest landscapes, cultural heritage sites and biodiversity. We accomplish our mission by organizing volunteer travel to extraordinary destinations where our trip participants volunteer on environmental conservation projects.
Description
ConservationVIP is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We began our volunteer work in 2007 with one volunteer trip which helped one of the world's most amazing environments - Torres del Paine National Park in Patagonia, Chile. Since then, thanks to the support of many volunteers, we have expanded to support ten destinations with extraordinary environmental, cultural, or biodiversity importance, including Machu Picchu in Peru, the Galapagos Islands, and Costa Rica.
Under our stewardship, more than 1,500 volunteers have contributed over 55,000 volunteer hours to protect these extraordinary places. By matching the enthusiasm of people who like to travel, with opportunities to help the places they want to visit, we have created a community of volunteers who have truly helped the places they love.
