The Guidance Center in partnership with Forgotten Harvest is proud to present a Fresh Food Program that helps families in need in the tri-city area (River Rouge, Ecorse and Detroit) receive free fresh groceries every 4th Monday of the month from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Groceries includes meat, vegetables, fruit and dairy (items vary).
Volunteers are needed on the day of delivery to help unload food, hand out food, and help people carry it out to their car or cart.

Description
The Guidance Center (formerly Downriver Guidance Clinic) is an innovative leader in providing quality behavioral health, substance abuse, and community outreach services to children, adults, and families. The private, nonprofit agency is at the forefront of creating new prevention and educational models to help children and families deal with mental health and substance abuse issues and has a history of responding to the ever-changing needs of the people of Downriver and metropolitan Detroit communities.
