VNA California, Visiting Nurse Association, Inland Empire Patient Care Center is seeking VOLUNTEERS to provide visitation, comfort, compassion and companionship to hospice patients. When the patient can no longer reach out to others, passionate and caring volunteers arrive to listen, hold a hand, or share a quiet moment. The volunteer offers assistance and visitation in private homes or in nursing facilities.
Our Volunteer Coordinator and other VNA team members will help you feel prepared, confident and appreciated. Our volunteers often state that, "the greatest reward of all is helpng someone who can never repay you." That is a true act of selfless love.
No medical expierece necessary. Training is free and very easy. Classes are offered often.
Volunteering is a "gift" of giving that will remain with you forever. It will be one of the best things you will ever do!
