We are seeking a psychologist or master's level practitioner with expertise in intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental illness, or applied behavioral analysis to serve on our Human Rights Committee.

Members of the committee meet on a quarterly basis to review programs and strategies utilized by the agency to assist with behavioral supports.

Members review any accidents, incidents and/or reports of abuse generated from within or outside the agency.

Members assist the agency in ensuring all stakeholders (individuals receiving support, families, guardians, staff) receive training in the areas of rights and dignity.

Committee members are welcomed and encouraged to visit homes and programs to understand the work of the agency and to provide feedback.

The committee is comprised of 5 independent community members (including a medical person and a lawyer) as well as a coordinator and several individuals who receive services from the agency.
