Are you looking to get out of the house, make a difference and meet fun people? You can brighten the futures of orphaned and vulnerable children around the world by providing basic office support at WACAP (World Association for Children and Parents), a Renton-based, nonprofit international adoption agency. Even in today's computerized world, adoptions require lots of paperwork, and we always need help with photocopying and putting together packets of information for prospective parents. But you can also use your creative side to help tell the stories of kids available for adoption with basic photo editing, writing child descriptions, working in our databases and using outlook email and excel to recruit families. Join us at our international headquarters in Renton and make a real difference in the lives of children.

Mission Statement

WACAP is a champion for children, finding and preparing permanent families and offering lifelong support after adoption. Our vision is a family for every child.

Description

Life is hard without a family. WACAP’s focus is to find adoptive families for children and build strong families. A global non-profit since 1976, WACAP has united more than 11,400 children with permanent, loving families.

At WACAP, we believe in the power of family to transform lives, and work tirelessly on behalf of children in U.S. foster care and orphanages overseas. Through the help of volunteers, we use unique family finding methods enabling us to reach out across the U.S. to identify potential adoptive families and move toward our vision of a family for every child.
