Love to meet new people? Want to work on your Spanish? Crave volunteering in a friendly and caring multicultural environment? Then we have the perfect volunteer opportunity for you. We are currently seeking a site coordinator for ESL classes. You'd be in charge of helping new English students with the registration process and placement in their new class. When you're not helping with registrations, you can assist by helping co-teach a class or substitute teaching.
Classes are held on Tuesdays or Thursdays from 7 to 9pm in Woodbridge.
No previous experience required.
Training is provided.

Description
Catholic Charities, Diocese of Arlington's Newcomer Services is made up of two departments - Hogar Immigrant Services and Migration and Refugee Services.
Hogar Immigrant Services responds to the Church’s call for social justice by welcoming the stranger to this country, regardless of ethnicity, religion, nationality, or ability to pay.
Migration and Refugee Services is one of 104 national affiliates of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops. Since its founding in 1975, the office has resettled and assisted over 30,000 refugees and asylees in the Northern Virginia community.
