At Heart to Heart Hospice our goal is to provide the best care we can for our patients and families! As a result, I am reaching out to the volunteer community . . .
We do have occasional patients who need Volunteers in the McDade, Giddings, Smithville, and Dimebox areas!
Our Volunteers:
- are friendly visitors,
- do not provide any personal/medical care,
- do monitor and report progress or changes to their hospice team,
- choose when and where they volunteer,
- are trained.

Description
The importance of our Volunteers to the hospice program cannot be overstated. Without you we could provide neither the kinds nor the scope of services that are so urgently needed to enhance the quality of the lives of our patients and their families.
In addition, since hospice has developed in response to a community need, it is appropriate and necessary that members of the community share in and contribute to that growth. Volunteers serve as a link between hospice and the community for mutual support and information sharing.
