Transportation is one of the greatest needs in rural areas like ours. Key Peninsula seniors, without access to public transportation, are often isolated and at risk. Help us bridge this gap by driving local seniors to medical appointments, grocery shopping, or other important errands. You can choose the hours and days you are available!
Volunteer drivers are reimbursed for their mileage, meals on trips 4 hours or longer, and bridge tolls.

Mission Statement
The work of The Mustard Seed Project is to build and elder-friendly Key Peninsula, where community members can "age in place" with dignity and respect.
Description
The Mustard Seed Project offers volunteer opportunities that can support the independence and well-being of our Key Peninsula elders.
Many of these opportunities are made possible through collaboration with partner agencies whose existing programs have not previously reached our community.
Our intention is to extend these well established, existing programs to our Key Peninsula seniors through strategic partnerships, rather than through duplication of services.
