Arbor Hospice is recruiting volunteers in Monroe County for people who have chosen to receive the benefits of hospice care in their home or in a long term care facility. Volunteers are an integral part of that care. Becoming a hospice volunteer is similar to helping a neighbor in need. All you need is a caring and compassionate heart and we can help with the rest.

There are many ways your compassion and skills can be used to help our patients and families:

¨ Companionship

¨ Caregiver Relief

¨ By Your Side

¨ Pet Visits

¨ Read

¨ Play music

¨ Light housekeeping

¨ Massage Therapists

If you would like to join our great team of volunteers serving in Monroe County please call or email us to sign up for our Arbor Hospice Volunteer Training.

Arbor Hospice recommends that any person who has suffered a personal loss wait a period of 12 months prior to volunteering.
