CASA of the Permian Basin Area, Inc.
Would you like to have a positive impact in the life of an abused/neglected child? Contact CASA of the Permian Basin Area to Volunteer as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for an abused child.
A CASA Volunteer is an advocate for abused and neglected children. The CASA Volunteer is assigned a CPS case by the Judge and is expected to gather relevant facts about the circumstances of that case. The CASA Volunteer spends time with the children and speaks with their caregivers, teachers, counselors and others who may have important information regarding the child. Based on this information, the CASA Volunteer then recommends to the court what is best for the child's future.
