Girls Hope of Pittsburgh provides stable, family-like homes, educational scholarships, academic support, professional development and networking opportunities and a holistic approach to child-development for young women ages 10-18 with demonstrated need and academic ability.
Girls Hope is seeking caring volunteers to help drive the scholars to their appointments and after school activities. Help is needed at both of our homes, located in Baden and Coraopolis.
Get to know the scholars on the way to their appointments or soccer games. Stay and cheer them on if you want!
Volunteers may be able to utilize house vehicles with the proper clearances.
Contact Girls Hope's AmeriCorps volunteer coordinator, Stef McVeigh, for information about this opportunity or other ways to get involved at Girls Hope. 412-329-7172 EXT. 103 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
