Make memories that last a lifetime! Grane Hospice is searching for caring and compassionate people who are looking to provide comfort and dignity to patients and their families while they are dealing with this difficult time by providing pet therapy visits. We are seeking someone who will visit patients with their certified pet. Visits can take place in either a facility; such as a nursing home, assisted living facility, or hospital, or in their home. Grane Hospice has patients that are located throughout southwestern Pennsylvania, however, we try to have our volunteers visit close to their home, but it is their choice. You must have your own transportation, however, we reimburse for mileage.
We will provide hospice training, background checks and TB shot
Our volunteers are important to our team and patients, so we will respect your schedule.
