Help a patient and their family in your community!! We are looking for compassionate and caring people who are looking to visit with our hospice patients. A visit can compromise of holding a hand, reading a book, completing a life story, reminiscing, or providing comfort to the patient, etc.
The patients are either in a nursing home or their own homes. You can visit patients close to your home with free parking and mileage reimbursement. If there are patients on the busline- you can visit via bus. Our volunteers are important to our team and patients, so we will respect your schedule.
Training is provided- we do require background checks, 2 step TB tests, CPR certification, and your own transportation.
Make memories that last a lifetime!!
