National Volunteer Week 2021 Is Here!
Celebrate with us as we highlight #ArtAsActivism!
Help a patient and their family in your community! We are looking for compassionate and caring people who are looking to visit our hospice patients. A visit can compromise of holding a hand, reading a book, completing a life story, reminiscing, or providing comfort to the patient, etc.
The patients are either in a nursing home or their own homes. You can visit close to your home with free parking and mileage reimbursement. Our volunteers are important to our team and patients, so we will respect your schedule.
Training is provided- we do require background checks, TB tests, and you must have your transportation. Or if the patients are on a busline, you can visit via bus.
Make memories that last a lifetime!

Our goal is to treat the patient with dignity and respect while making them comfortable. We have a strong team that consists of Grane Hospice support staff and volunteers.
Volunteers are an important part of the team as we provide special physical, emotional, spiritual, and practical needs to both the patient and family. Part of the goal is to provide comfort and dignity while making the patients comfortable. This is achieved in many different ways, some are hands on and some are in the comfort of your home or our office. Put your special skills and talents to use by helping someone in your community on the end their life journey.
We'll work with your schedule.
