ORGANIZATION: Marin Advocates for Children - Child Abuse Prevention Council

You can make a difference for a child in our community by volunteering. Marin Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) program provides unique, life changing services for children and youth that are not available through any other nonprofit or governmental agency. Volunteers are at the core of the CASA program, they work with children who are dependents of the Marin Court as a result of having been abused or neglected. CASA volunteers are sworn officers of the court, appointed by a judge to investigate, monitor, and report on the best interests of children.

Volunteers, who must be 21 years of age, undergo a thorough background and screening process and complete approximately 36 hours of initial training.

Please call us and volunteer to work with dedicated professionals; to provide children a powerful voice in court.
