The Spokane Humane Society is seeking more volunteers for our Feline Friends program!

Feline Friends volunteers are tasked with socializing, grooming or otherwise enriching the shelter life of our cats. You may also be asked to provide basic cleaning in the cat areas, as well as assist with laundry or dishes.

We are a private, non-profit serving the public by providing care, shelter, and placement into loving homes for neglected and unwanted animals in the greater Spokane area through pet adoptions.

Spokane Humane Society volunteers are integral to our work, focusing on the general care of the animals, from feeding and grooming to playing and training.

  • We ask that all volunteers dedicate 4 hours a month minimum to volunteering.
  • Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult (18 years or older) at all times and cannot advance past Cuddle Crew level until they reach 18 years of age.
