Samaritan House's Kids Closet is a fun and vibrant clothing store that provides more than 50,000 items of free children’s clothing each year to our client families. We serve low income kids from new born babies to teens with alll their wardrobe essentials. Voulnteer store clerks assist shoppers, help check out items, organize/display inventory, and sort through new clothing donations.

Kids Closet is open from Monday through Wednesday 9:00am to 12:00pm and 1:00pm-4:00pm and Thursday mornings from 9:00am to 12:00pm. Volunteers are assigned to a regularly scheduled shift once per week. Shifts have around 3-4 volunteers. We are currently looking for volunteers to join established shifts on a variety of days.

Our free service offerings include shelter and housing assistance; medical and dental clinics; clothes for children; personalized case management and much more. Each year, we provide services and resources to more than 25,000 low-income and homeless San Mateo County residents in need, including families with children, seniors and individuals living with a disability, veterans and homeless adults.
