The Program needs volunteers to assist with the Winter sessions. Volunteers will work with the students in class helping them with balance, learning and gaining confidence. Please email me at sarah@etpfarm.org or go to our website www.etpfarm.org to see a schedule. Volunteers typically work for an hour or two once a week for the period of the session. A session is normally nine weeks.

Mission Statement
The Equestrain Therapy Program is a 501-c-3 charitable corporation organized to improve the quality of life for the disabled by providing equine-facilitated activities and therapies in Lima and the surronding ten-county area in Northwest Ohio.
Description
We are a PATH INTL. Certified Program that provides therapeutic horseback riding to individuals with disabilities. The horse has a unique gait that mimics walking and is a wonderful therapeutic tool for our riders. Our riders experience increased muscle tone, balance, posture and strength.
We also provide programs for the behaviorally challenged and alternative learners. The students partner with the horse in a safe and stimulating learning environment. The ETP Learning Model focuses on academic standards, developmental assets and character skills.
