Volunteers are needed to help in our hospice house. These duties include but are not limited to monitoring waiting room, directing visitors, making coffee and cookies, and other basic office functions. Depending on the comfort level of the volunteer, this may also include visiting with patients and families, sitting with patients while family members take breaks, entertaining children while their parents talk, etc...

Description
NorthCare Hospice has been bringing warmth and a personal touch to professional hospice care since 1996. NorthCare Hospice mobilizes volunteers to work with staff to provide services to patients in nine counties throughout the Kansas City Metro Area. There are many ways volunteers can help support patients and families. Volunteers do not administer medications or perform nursing duties.
