Provide companionship for someone that needs you. There are many people with life limiting illnesses that do not have family or friends visiting often or at all. As a Patient Support Volunteer, you become a trained friend to our patients. There are also families that would like the additional support from one of our volunteers. Provide peace - of -mind for a family, by sitting with their loved one while they go to the grocery store, or offer a listening ear for a family that needs someone to talk with. Every patient and families needs are different. Being a Patient Support volunteer is an awarding opportunity, please contact us for more information on ways you can contribute.
