We are currently recruiting for a Baby Corner Volunteer for Tuesday, Thursday, or Saturday of every month. Our Baby Corner runs during the first full week of each month (our weeks start on Tuesdays) from 9am - 10am. Volunteers help distribute diapers, formula, food, and wipes to qualifying families. Volunteers will also keep the corner stocked and the program's files organized. Volunteers should be comfortable learning new software, for customer check in and to save family information. They should also be comfortable working with a diverse population, including those with limited English speaking ability. Be able to enforce rules, be detail-oriented, MUST be able to work well as part of a team as well as independently, and be able to stand/walk for at least 2-3 hours.

We have been operating in Seattle's Central District for over 60 years, and we now serve approximately 1,200 families per week with free nutritious food. We serve any person who lives within the city of Seattle. We have a small staff and could not operate without the help of our volunteers.
