The Client Service Assistant (CSA)is often the client's first impression of the Society. It is important that they portray Navy Marine Corps Relief Society (NMCRS) as a professional, friendly, and effiecient organization. CSAs learn how to greet clients with a professional demeanor, provide accurate information concering the Society, maintain client confidentiality, make appointments, check-in clients, ensure the smooth transition of the client from check-in to caseworker, organize files, and do a multitude of other office related activities. NMCRS assistants develop computer, basic office equipment, and professional interpersonal skills. IMPORNTANT NOTE: Knowlegde of military is not required! You need to be someone who has an excitement to learn and help service members in need. Childcare and mileage reimbursement is available. We work with your schedule based on the hours we are open each day 8am-4:30pm.

The mission of the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society is to provide, in partnership with the Navy and Marine Corps, financial, educational, and other assistance to members of the Naval Services of the United States, eligible family members, and survivors when in need; and to receive and manage funds to administer these programs.

Description

Founded in 1904, the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society is a private non-profit charitable organization. It is sponsored by the Department of the Navy and operates nearly 250 offices ashore and afloat at Navy and Marine Corps bases throughout the world. The Society was incorporated in the District of Columbia and has its headquarters in Arlington, Virginia. It is managed by a Board of Directors whose members are active duty or retired members of the Naval Services, or spouses of active duty or retired members of the Naval Services
