“The mission of the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society is to provide, in partnership with the Navy and Marine Corps, financial, educational, and other assistance to members of the Naval Services of the United States, eligible family members, and survivors when in need; and to receive and manage funds to administer these programs.”


Our casework division is the only division where volunteers can advance in complexity of knowledge and "rank." Volunteers begin at the Apprentice Casework level and can advance to a Certified Caseworker. Potential caseworkers must complete required training and have the ability to learn to assess alternatives and exercise active listening skills. Casework devlops budgeting, financial management, interviewing, and computer skills. This is a great way to build your resume or keep you skills fresh as you are transitioning in your career goals. IMPORTANT NOTE: No military background required! Just an excitement and interest in helping services members in need.We work with your schedule. Mileage and childcare reimbersment available.
