The Chicano Federation was established in 1969 to provide a variety of comprehensive, neighborhood-based services to a large and diverse population. Our mission is to provide empowering opportunities for our diverse community.
Next year, the Chicano Federation will celebrate its 50 th Anniversary of being a mature and well-respected organization providing comprehensive, neighborhood-based services to a large and diverse population. We will celebrate this monumental milestone with a 50 th Anniversary Gala in May 2019.
We have already formed a Gala committee to help drive the vision and success of this important event and are looking for additional volunteers to lend their expertise on the committee.
The committee meets once a month but each committee member will have additional roles and responsibilities between the regularly scheduled meetings.
