HavenHouse St. Louis provides families with hot home cooked breakfasts and dinners seven days a week. The home-cooked meals not only fill our patients and families tummies with yummy goodness, but also helps alleviate some of the stress of their medical crisis.
We are looking for assistants to help staff make the final meal preparation and to prepare the dining room for the families. You will be provided with training on the mealtime procedures.
Only volunteers 18 and older may be meal assistants. Proof of Hepatitis A vaccination is also required.
Breakfast assistants need to arrive at 6:45 a.m. Breakfast is served at 7 a.m. The volunteer assists with clean up and leaves around 8:00 a.m.
Dinner assistants need to arrive at 3:45 p.m. Dinner is served at 5 p.m. The volunteer assists with clean up and leaves around 6 p.m.

We offer lodging and complimentary meals to the families and patients that stay at HavenHouse St. Louis. Other offerings include transportation to and from area hospitals, on-site support, Internet connections with email and complimentary telephone calls to family and friends, recreational facilities and beautiful grounds to enjoy the outdoors.
We are in need of individuals, groups and companies to invest and donate their time as well as share their professional talents with our organization. We rely on over 2,000 volunteers each year to meet the goals of our mission and help to create a special place for the families we serve.
