SCORE offers four different volunteer opportunities for working and retired professionals of any age: (flexible, easy, fun) We will train and work with you for until you are comfortable in a position.

• Mentor: Offer confidential business mentoring, either in person or online. Share your business skills to help aspiring entrepreneurs in the growth and development of their business. Lots of training available.
• Subject matter expert: Collaborate with experienced mentors to offer advice in your specific area of expertise. Use your knowledge to help others. Only be called on when needed.
• Workshop presenter: Lead local workshops, seminars and events to help entrepreneurs meet their goals and achieve success. We have workshop material or you can develop your own. We can also help you learn how to deliver effective workshops. Hone your skills. Get in front of small audiences eager to learn.
• Administrative role: Assist your local chapter with marketing, finance, scheduling or other key administrative tasks. You would only be shown a few easy to perform tasks that you will choose to take on... this will help us a lot!

Gain useful experience to add to your resume by helping others. These are unique opportunities and not really time consuming. Much of our work is completed using video conferencing. There is also a yearly paid trip to a resort hotel for local leadership to attend the national conference. Last year it was in a major resort in Reno Nevada. (We are actually seeking volunteers to fill leadership positions).
