We are a non-profit and multi-cultural arts organization dedicated to promote, present and preserve the African and indigenous cultures of the world through their music, art, dance, education, technology and sustainability. We are located in Balboa Park, down from the world famous San Diego Zoo.

WorldBeat Cultural Center offers classes and events in music and dance from cultures around the globe including African, Middle-Eastern, Brazilian, Japanese, and more. We have top instructors that teach yoga and QiGong free to the community. We promote health and wellness of the people and our planet through lectures and workshops on health awareness and sustainability. WorldBeat Cultural Center is also known for event and concert production. Our annual 'Tribute to the Reggae Legends/ Bob Day' happens to be our largest fundraiser apart from the film festivals and other indigenous community events. We contribute to the San Diego community by spreading awareness for coexisting diverse cultures within this lovely city. Our consistent goal is to showcase the 'unity in diversity' to the people. So, WorldBeat Cultural Center is your passport to the world.

Among the several projects for 2018, a major one is to start a low powered FM radio station. For this projects, we are looking for volunteers to train in radio programing, and radio personalities production on air, obtain sponsorship for radio marketing.

Our community TV show will air again in 2018. We require aspiring individuals with some experience in video filming to deliver videos with cuts, graphics, sound and other effects. Applicants must understand the importance of quality production and deliver with a decent level of technical sophistication.

Experience with Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Captivate and Adobe Photo shop is desired.
