volunteers make a difference
Be a hospice volunteer and make a difference in the life of someone else.

Are You That SPECIAL Person? You can make a difference in someone's life. Please consider sharing your time and talent. Hospice volunteers bring comfort to terminally ill patients and their families. People with a little time to provide companionship, provide a friendly visit, sit with patient to relieve caregivers for a short amount of time, help with small chores or errands. You may read to them, watch and talk about their favorite TV shows, write cards or letters for them, do arts and crafts, make a Memory Book, a collage of their favorite things, family, movie or singing stars, etc. Or you may just be a good listener to the patient reminiscing, or "life review".

This is also a great opportunity for Resume Building, networking, and job experience.

We are also recruiting Certified Pet Therapy Volunteers, Military Veteran Volunteers, Bilingual Volunteers and Vigil Volunteers. Our service area is in Southern New Jersey.

Office volunteers will do filing, answering phones, participate in preparation for special projects such as Memorial Service, making up program books, do copy work, address envelopes or do computer work.
