Our organization was founded on volunteer service and it is volunteerism that continues to be the life-giving force that allows us to provide top-quality assistance!
Food pantry volunteers assist clients with their grocery choices and taking their groceries to their car, as well as restocking the pantry shelves. Each month, we distribute approximately 85,000 pounds of food to our neighbors, and volunteers are an important part of making this happen.
Our volunteer hours are Monday-Saturday 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Description
Since 1968 Sweetwater Mission has reached out to our neighbors to help them in their time of need. We strive to provide comfort, aid and stability during emergency situations. Many of our neighbors are one life crisis away from becoming trapped in the downward spiral of poverty. Our core programs provide nutritious food, clothing and personal hygeine items, and family support services to prevent homelessness. We have great volunteers and encourage you to pray about joining our family!
